The main Setup window and a Record Palette are shown here. The Setup window is the place where Species, Areas, Trips, Habitats and Actions/Behaviors are managed. Reports can be configured and Email functions for sharing data can be set up.

The Record Palettes offer some powerful options for recording observations both in real time or from data recorded earlier in the field.

Wild!'s Trip Monitor feature helps you create, travel to, and manage trips for very precise locations.

The Trip Monitor is integrated with Wild!'s Voice Commands feature, so you can get position information without having to turn your attention to your laptop or tablet computer.

The Arrival and Proximity alarms let you know when you're approaching an Area, when you've arrived and when you've left the Area. This is particularly useful for conducting Point Counts.

Use the "Bearing Feedback" feature to hear your current heading when you're entering Bearing and Distance offsets for subjects to ensure the best precision.

Wild!'s mapping feature lets you quickly generate a Google Earth map that shows all of the locations where you've recorded a selected Species (or a group of Species).

Precise latitude and longitude data can be captured if you have a GPS connected to your computer!

The Wild!Quiz feature puts the Multimedia Library files you've added to good use. A variety of quizzes that match photographs with text answers and photographs and sounds. Wild!Quiz even features questions that match Species with Habitats.

Options for limiting matches to Family/Group or Genus or increasing/decreasing the number of answer choices can help tailor the quiz difficulty to the level of knowledge and experience.

An Info Palette displays photo images that have been added to the Multimedia Library, as well as any descriptive text that may have been added.

When the Info Palette is being displayed, the content dynamically changes as you select new Species in the main Wild! window.

The Wild! Area setup function uses Google Maps to help define very specific areas. Wild! can decode the Google URL to determine many critical bits of information about an area, including latitude and longitude coordinates, geopolitical data and even area size.

Species which are expected to occur in an area can also be listed. This function makes Area selections very useful in the Wild!Quiz feature.

Custom Fields, available in the Premier version of Wild!, can help you develop incredibly customized datasets.

Custom Fields may be defined for any of the main Object types within Wild! -- Observations, Species, Trips, Habitats and Actions.
